On the whole, their criteria would be firstly a spouse of their own denomination, secondly someone from another congregation and thirdly, simply choosing by the emotion of love.
On the surface, these three standards may seem fine, but sadly these would only be fine in an ideal world.
As our world is becoming less ideal, from a Biblical perspective, it stands to reason that Christians need to look more closely to what the Bible commands.
